DESCRIPTION

Early on in design the concept for this three story historic home on 1st Street NW in Bloomingdale emerged and it became a driving factor when making decisions through out the design process - Historic meets a Modern Black and White. Carefully, we played with these contrasting ideas and worked on a harmonious balance. Original trim, mantel, stairs, doors and other architectural features were not only kept but highlighted. All the new editions to the spaces were done through a warm, minimalistic and edited lense.
